RAKwireless RAK5802 RS485 Module 3PEAK TP8485E 100003
RAK5802 is a WisBlock RS485 interface module based on TP8485 from 3PEAK that extends the WisBlock system with an industrial RS485 data transmission interface.Ā A ready-to-use SW library and tutorial makes it easy to connect any sensor that is using the RS485 interface.
RAK5802 supports one RS485 interface and has a battery and 3.3V power output to supply sensors. In addition, an I2C interface connection is available on the crimping terminal.
RAK5802 combined with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core gives your solution for an interface to industrial sensors and actuators that support the RS485Ā interface. This interface is the bridge between such sensors and LoRaWanĀ® communication, LoRaĀ® point to point connections or BLE.
RAK5802 is ideal for battery-powered applications because of its low power consumption. In addition, the WisBlock system allows to power down the module completely to reduce the power consumption of the system even more.Ā
