RAK13005 is a WisBlock LIN interface module based on Infineon TLE7259-3 LIN chip which is commonly used in industrial and automotive technologies. It offers safe communication over up to 40m distance between the LIN bus nodes. Beside of the use in automotive environment it is as well implemented in home appliances (like washing machines, refrigerators, …) and industrial automation (manufacturing equipment, metal working).

The LIN bus technology consists of Peripheral (Slave) and Controller (Master) Nodes. The Controller Node is controlling the communication on the LIN bus and the Peripheral Nodes are listening.
